The Waterfall Necklace was on my mind for many years before I designed it. When I was working as a costume designer I made a dress with a similar neck in beads, and I have always wanted to replicate that as a necklace in crochet. Then I saw a gold chain and diamond necklace in a magazine ad that rekindled the memory, so I grabbed some yarn and beads and began! It is important that the beads used in this piece have holes large enough to fit a steel hook (1.25-1.5mm) through.
