Community

The Crochet Foundry Community is a safe space for all crochet and yarn artists (yarnists) to come together and encourage each other. We have 2 rules:

1 - Be Kind.

2 - Don't make me make any other rules.

Crocheters of any skill level are welcome, as are any other yarnists. We love teaching, learning, sharing, and helping. 

At Crochet Foundry we understand the therapeutic nature of fiber arts and community. We offer several ways to participate in our community, and hope you can find some ways that work for you.

Facebook Group & CALs

For those of you on Facebook, we have out Facebook Group - Crochet Foundry Makes. You can share your makes, ask questions, stay on top of what's happening, cheer each other on, and celebrate your creative achievements. We also have CALs (Crochet ALongs) that run on our Facebook Group and also through our livestreams. More details about our CALs can be found HERE.

Livestreams

Every Wednesday at noon eastern we have a live Lunch with The Foundry that streams on our YouTube, Facebook Page, and Instagram. We sometimes have guests, and we sometimes have coupon codes or giveaways from sponsors or guests. More details about the Lunch with The Foundry can be found HERE. 

Sit & Stitches

Most Wednesdays we also have a live Sit & Stitch on Zoom. The time varies each week in the hopes that most of our community can find at least one or two times a month that work for them to join. They last 2 hours and you are welcome to come and go as you please. More details about the Sit & Stitches, along with links to join, can be found HERE.

Join Us

Any reason to join the community is good, all are welcome as long as you are able to accept each other exactly as you all are. We do not believe in judging each other for race, religion, sexuality, gender, etc. We DO believe in the paradox of tolerance. Basically, follow our two rules and all is good.

The Crochet Foundry Community is a fun, caring, and joyful place to be, wherever we may be. We look forward to creating with you!
